| A nine month distance learning programme,
this course is ideal for staff with little or no exposure to ships or shipping.
Although it is equally suitable for those already employed in shipping who wish
to gain a broader insight into and a better understanding of this global

| An allocated tutor guides a
student through the nine courses/lessons in the course book. At the end of each
lesson the student submits a completed test paper - multiple choice format - to

students are assessed on the best six out of the first eight test papers plus
the ninth test which is designed to cover the whole course. |
| Those achieving a pass will be required to
